Shanna Richey

National Trainer

Shanna has always loved teaching and making learning fun.  She believes that good classroom management can create more space for learning and enjoyment in the classroom.  Shanna agrees with Madeline Hunter when she says, “Kids don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care!”  You are not able to educate students to the full capacity until they feel loved and cared for.  There are many ways that you can intentionally care for your students, but it has to be a decision that you are willing to make everyday.

Shanna believes that teachers need to be given research based, proven, practical strategies and applications that teachers can start implementing immediately- without throwing anything out that is working in their classroom.  She recognizes that teachers have the toughest job in America, with being expected to wear so many hats.

Students come into the classroom from many different backgrounds and are expected to learn in the same way.  The “one size fits all” approach does not work anymore.  The biggest unchallenged assumption is that students come to class everyday ready to learn.  As educators, we know that this is just not true.  Students are learning behaviors from all sorts of influences.

Shanna knows that we can’t always do much for the student after they leave our class, but we can control what we do when we have them with us.  She is a dedicated educator that is known for her excellent classroom management style and compassion toward students and colleagues.  Shanna is dedicated to helping educators be successful through her dynamic and interactive sessions.  Most importantly she leaves educators with practical tools that they can use the next day.  Educators have the most important job and Shanna doesn’t take that lightly.

If schools were permitted to have just one training, this is the one!

This training will help to raise test scores for your students, decrease discipline challenges, and improve classroom rapport. You will learn how to meet students where they are and lead them where they need to be, capture attention, and promote deeper learning.
